You will see from research and proven best practices that the most influential relationship in a child’s life is with a caregiver. A healthy relationship with a caregiver can increase confidence and autonomy, limit the terrible effects of trauma, and enable a child to explore life around them knowing they have a safe place to return. 
Infancy and childhood is probably the most important time for this safe base to be established. How do we empower caregivers to parent their young children well? This presentation, hosted by CAFO, will center around an effective parenting program and will communicate beneficial tools for improving parenting skills.
